About Marilyn Borell

Marilyn Weir Borell, originally from International Falls, Minnesota, has traveled extensively and lived in various states as well as Bogota, Colombia. She and husband Steve lived in Anchorage, Alaska for 32 years, where Marilyn worked as administrative staff at the University of Alaska Anchorage, and earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Poetry.  Now settled in Lindsborg, Kansas, she dedicates her time to volunteering, church activities, and her passion for writing poetry and creative nonfiction. Currently, she is penning a memoir that shares her journey of overcoming depression through faith.
